Let’s save Katowice paediatric cardiology together
from 31.08 to 31.08
This coming Saturday, August 31st, our Shopping Centre will host a charity campaign “Saving hearts beating” for the Upper Silesian Children’s Health Centre in Katowice named after St. John Paul II.
Every year in Poland, 3 to 4 thousand children are born with congenital heart defects. This means that everyday parents of ten children learn that their child suffers from a heart defect. Most of them require intervention in the neonatal period or in early childhood. Thanks to the constantly developing possibilities of interventional cardiology, a significant number of patients can receive help using minimally invasive methods in cardiology departments. Doctors and nurses from the Paediatric Cardiology Department of the Upper Silesian Children’s Health Centre have been saving the hearts of patients both large and small for years.
Now they need support. Without modern equipment for monitoring the condition of the department’s patients, helping children with heart defects and other circulatory system diseases is very difficult!
Join us, take part in the event and support a noble cause – a fundraiser for cardio monitors for the Upper Silesian Children’s Health Centre in Katowice.
On August 31st , we invite you from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We have prepared lots of attractions for children and donors in our shopping centre: face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, a handicraft fair, competitions and many other surprises.
